Alyssa Londoño is very excited to join Ridgeway Nursery School & Kindergarten as a teacher in the 2’s program. She comes to Ridgeway with 11 years of teaching experience, working with elementary-aged children from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of learning needs.

Mrs. Londoño earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Hofstra University and her Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from New York University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from New York Institute of Technology. Mrs. Londoño is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. She especially enjoys incorporating books, music, movement, and hands-on experiences into the classroom.

In her spare time, Mrs. Londoño loves spending time with her husband and their three children, reading, traveling, and making special memories with her family.

Mrs. Londoño will be working in partnership with Ms. Nia Waring.
